Dollywood FAQ's
Where exactly is Dollywood, and how do I get there?
Dollywood is located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, 35 miles southeast of Knoxville, off I-40 at Exit 407. Please see our Location Information section for a map of the area.
Can I pay admission prices with a personal check? What about a credit card?
You can pay by personal check, however a current driver's license is required. You may also pay by Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Cash.
What discounts are available?
Our "After 3:00 PM" program allows you to enter Dollywood after 3:00 PM and get in FREE the next operating day. Parking fees are not included. This program is valid on one-day Dollywood admission tickets April 7, 2001 through November 3, 2001. It is not valid during the Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival.
Our "NEXT DAY" ticket allows Guests to enjoy Dollywood the next consecutive operating day for only $10.00 more! After you have purchased your one-day admission ticket and have enjoyed your day at Dollywood, you can buy your "NEXT DAY" ticket at our Exchange Booth as you are exiting the Park. This ticket is valid the next consecutive operating day only and must be purchased the day of your visit before you leave Dollywood. This ticket is available April 7, 2001 through December 30, 2001.
Do you have group rates?
Yes, we offer group rates for groups of 15 or more. Our group reservation number is 865-428-9890. Groups must make reservations at least 14 days in advance in order to receive one (1) complimentary ticket per fifteen (15) paid.
Are pets allowed on park?
Yes. Guests are permitted to enter Dollywood with a dog or cat (domestic / house), but the pet must be on an leash at all times. Leashes must not exceed four feet in length. Pets are not permitted in any food establishment unless the animal is a service animal. Pets are not permitted on any rides. Any pet causing any disturbance or concern to any other guest will be asked to move to another area of Dollywood or take the pet off Dollywood property.
Note: Beginning with the Christmas season on November 9, 2002 pets will no longer be allowed inside Dollywood park with the exception of service animals for guests with disabilities.
Do you have a smoking policy at Dollywood?
Yes. If you smoke, please utilize the many designated smoking areas. Smoking is strictly forbidden on all rides, queue lines, indoor theaters, attractions, shops and restaurants.
